The spacious room, adorned with antique furniture and boasting a large corner bathtub, was a wonderful retreat after a day of exploration, particularly after visiting some local châteaux. Estelle, our warm and welcoming hostess, made us feel at home, providing helpful tips for nearby restaurants, including a lovely eatery run by her mother just across the street. We indulged in a splendid continental breakfast each morning in the serene garden, featuring homemade yogurt and local cheeses—a true gastronomic treat for any traveler! With the added perk of free Wi-Fi and air conditioning, our stay was not just comfortable but truly enriching as I shared stories with my family about the historical significance of the very streets we wandered. Les Chambres d'Ovaline offered a perfect blend of comfort and local culture, making it an unforgettable New Year's experience in one of France's most enchanting towns.
